A busy February brought be so many beautiful babies. I think I have the best job being able to create beautiful images for parents. Plus I get my baby fix on a regular basis! It is a win-win!
Introducing Sophie, one of my gorgeous little ones that I had the pleasure of meeting last month.

Sophie came into the studio with her mom and dad. This girl had the most amazing head of hair and was simply adorable.
One of the first things I do when a parent books a newborn session is send them a questionnaire to gather some information about the session, which includes understanding what the parents envision for their session. It is important that I am capturing images that can be displayed in the home for many years.
Simple poses with minimal props
Sophies mom wanted simple poses with minimal props, I focused a majority of the session on the posing table. I pulled the colors that she chose and matched simple headbands to create a simple but classic look that completely focuses on the baby.
Although Sophie slept for most of her session, she did wake up as we neared the end and gave me some amazing expressions and even a few smirks. Parents always love it when I am able to capture a smile during the session, which I am able to do most of the time.
I was able to capture a beautiful gallery for the parents of their sweet baby girl. She was a perfect baby to work with.
