This sweet boy came into the studio for his newborn photos with his mom. He was 11 days old when I saw him. He is absolutely adorable!

Hayden was 11 days old when I saw him. People always ask the best age to photograph newborns. I always suggest anytime between 6 and 21 days old when they are old enough to have settled into a routine but young enough to still be able to get those squishy newborn poses.
Little Fingers and Little Toes
Hayden slept through most of his session. He gave me a couple of sleepy smiles and was a joy to work with.
During my newborn sessions, I have a plan that I follow to capture a variety of images for the parents to choose from. Sometimes things don’t always go as planned but on this day, I was able to capture a variety of images since I was working with a very sleepy and cooperative baby.
