It has been a very busy few months of cake smashes. I have had several already this year and several more on the books in the coming months. I love putting together a set for each of these based on the parents vision and request. If any of you have seen my previous posts, cake smash sessions can sometimes be a hit or miss depending on the baby. I will say this cake smash session was definitely a hit, especially the tub.
Introducing Sophia.

This sweet girl arrived at the studio with her parents. She was a little shy with me at first, so I gave her a few minutes to warm up. It did not take too long before we were friends.
Sophia’s parents were specific in the colors they wanted for the set. Reds, white and golds. It went perfect with the adorable dress they brought her in for her portraits. She looked like a little princess.
It was time for an outfit change and cake! This girl dug right in. I think she liked squishing the frosting the most and grabbed a taste or two as well. After 10 minutes or so, she was done and we decided to move on to bath time. Little did I know what fun was ahead!
This girl LOVED the bath. It took her a minute to figure out that it was just like bath time at home, the tub was just a lot smaller! Once she got comfortable in the tub, the fun began. Splish splash…splash…splash! She was having so much fun splashing water. I think by the end most of the water was out of the tub and on the floor. It was so much fun capturing her smiles and excitement.
All fun things must come to an end.
Sophia was finally done with her bath and it was time to go home. Thanks for visiting Sophia and having such a great time at your cake smash!
