Baby H | 1st Birthday Photoshoot
I offer parents the opportunity to purchase a baby plan package to capture their baby’s first year. The first year baby plan includes a newborn, sitter and cake smash session. It is a great way to capture your growing baby throughout their first year.
Hudson was a baby plan baby this past year. It is so rewarding to watch my little clients grow from newborns into busy little toddlers. Hudson was a very active boy who had his own plans for his cake smash session.

Hudson came into the studio to celebrate his first birthday. His mom had a great vision for the theme of his cake smash. It was all coming together perfectly. We simply needed the little guy!
Hudson was a bit shy as most kids his age are. His shyness did not last long and soon enough he was checking out the set and giving me some adorable faces.

Hudson is a boy on the move. We had a hard time keeping his interest. He wanted to do his own thing. I was able to capture a few candids and then we decided to take out the cake. What kid does not like cake…?
Hudson took a few small bites but quickly lost interest in the cake. He wanted nothing to do with it. His mom tried to put puffs on it to entice him. He was a curious boy and had things to explore!
I always provide a wooden spoon for my cake smash’s. Hudson was a big fan of the spoon.
We decided to move on from the cake and I got the tub ready for his tub splash. That was a complete fail…
Hudson wanted nothing to do with the tub. We tried to coax him in but he was not having it. He wanted to be free and the tub was not in his plans on this day. Some days we just go with what the baby wants. This was one of those days.
