Rattlesnake Lake Maternity Session | Maternity Photography Bellevue WA
I met up with this gorgeous couple at Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend. This was only the 2nd time I have photographed at this location and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It is located in North Bend off I-90 and easy access from Seattle or Bellevue. The backdrop is amazing anytime of year. Although on this particular day, the water in the lake was very high due to all of the rain we have had this spring in the Pacific Northwest, there was still plenty of locations around the lake to capture beautiful photos and it was a perfect backdrop for maternity photos.

I was looking forward to working with this couple. They traveled up to Washington State from California and reached out to me to capture this special time in their lives. I had the opportunity to meet them a few days before their session when they came to my home studio so Sharan could try on maternity dresses she wanted to use for her session. I have a growing collection of gowns and it is important that moms are able to try them on if they choose to make sure it is exactly what they envision.
The weather was perfect for their session. Although the sun was not shining, it was the first day that we had temperatures that were comfortable and the rain stayed away on this particular day.
Sharan looked absolutely amazing in the gowns she selected for their session. She is absolutely glowing. They are such an amazing couple and are so excited to welcome their baby boy in a few weeks. They are going to be amazing parents.
