As a newborn photographer, I am able to provide family members with an amazing gift of portraiture for their family. I have always provided this as a gift to family members expecting a baby. It’s just something I love to do.
I have a couple of friends that I have grown up with most of my life (40+ years of friendship). We have shared so many life experiences and becoming parents and now as we all become grandparents is one of those life experiences that I am honored to be a part of.
We were expecting a couple of new babies in our family this year. The first has made her arrival.

Look at those cheeks! This girl made her arrival a week early, weighing in at almost 9 pounds. I am pretty sure most of that weight is in those cheeks!
This girl came in sound asleep but that was short lived. As soon as I undressed her she woke up and was not happy with me. I must say, it brought flashbacks from a session almost 4 years earlier with big sister Kat, who also was not very cooperative. Luckily I have a few extra tricks up my sleeve for a fussy baby.
Maxine loved being wrapped. As long as she was wrapped she was fairly content. A little milk from mom also helped put her over the top more than once.

I love when I can capture a few wide awake eyes. Maxine gave me some great eye contact for being only a week old. I also captured several grins and smirks which just melted my heart.
I am honored to have been able to capture these images and provide the gift of these memories for my family. I am excited to watch this little girl grow up.

My little Maxine was quite a difficult little baby, just like her sister was, and didnt want to deeply sleep through the shoot. Torri worked with her to sooth her and took her time to get the photos we wanted. These photos turned out beautifully and I couldn’t imagine getting them done by anyone else! I can’t wait to get more photos done by Torri later this year and for Maxine’s 1 year cake smash!
