Baby C | Newborn and Family Photography Seattle
This baby girl came to me a bit older than I typically photograph newborns. Although I photograph most newborns within their first (3) weeks of life, I have photographed many older newborns and am able to capture beautiful photos for the family. Older newborns tend to have longer moments of wide awake periods and Chiara was no exception to this. She gave me some beautiful eye contact and I wrapped her to take advantage of what she was giving me. As with most newborns, wrapping and a warm studio tend to lead to a sleepy baby and after a period of time, she feel into a blissful sleep and I captured some gorgeous photos of this sweet girl.
I had taken photos of Chiara’s big brother a year earlier and was excited when her parents reached out to me to capture photos for their newest addition. She is just perfect.
I love capturing photos with the parents and I always encourage parent photos. Although mom’s may not be feeling it a few weeks after giving birth, capturing these moments will be something you will cherish for years to come. I encourage my mama’s to let me take a few. It is better to have them than to later regret not having them taken. Chiara’s parents were ready for their photos and they are absolutely precious.
