All appointments that are cancelled due to an emergency may be rescheduled. If the second appointment time that was made is cancelled for any reason, the client will lose the deposit. If an appointment is cancelled, the client has up to 2 weeks to reschedule or they risk losing the deposit. If a client cancels more than twice, the photographer reserves the right to not make any further appointments. Client forfeits the 50% paid to book the session date and will act as a cancellation fee. The fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by calling 2 weeks prior to the date of session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time.
It is up to the discretion of the photographer if the appointment should be cancelled due to weather. If your photo shoot has been scheduled for outdoors, dressing with layers that can added or removed is recommended.
