A goal set for 2017 is to blog my sessions. Each year I make a resolution to blog my sessions. I intend to keep up when the year begins. Often times life gets busy and I find myself once again behind. It’s a new year!
Olivia came into the studio with her mommy and daddy. Another gorgeous baby with the most beautiful skin and head full of hair. Baby photographer heaven! Olivia had moments when she slept and other moments where she was wide awake. She had the most delicate features and the best expressions. She is definately the apple of her parents eyes and I am pretty sure she already has her daddy wrapped around her finger in her short life.
Parents often ask me before their session if they need to bring anything to their session such as outfits or props. I tell them the following:
- Self proclaimed prop-aholic is what I am! This is not an exaggeration. I have wraps, backdrops, fur, hats, headbands, outfits, buckets and baskets. The list goes on and on. Parents simply need to bring their sleepy baby and plenty of food and diapers for the session.
- My style is simple and classic. The focus of the photos should be on your beautiful baby. I capture images that are timeless and can be hung on your walls for many years to come. Often times parents will have a specific blanket or hat that is important to them or something Grandma made for the baby. I encourage parents to bring in a special item and I will do my best to capture a photo with that special item.
Olivia was the perfect model for a few of my little girl props:
